Williams - Josiah

Josiah Williams, well known here, died at the home of his
sister, Mrs. Joseph McAlister, in Lagrange, Ky on Monday. The
body was brought to his former home, Browns Valley and interred
in Indian Creek Cemetery after funeral services at the Baptist
Church at 11 on Thursday morning conducted by Rev. Mr. Oliphant. He
was born 1838. He married Miss Julia Seybold Dec 2, 1874. No
children were born to them. Mrs. Williams died April 27, 1910 and
since her death Mr. Williams has made his home with his
half-brother, Elijah Williams and with his sister, Mrs.
McAlister. He leaves a number of relatives and many friends who
sincerely mourn his death. The half brother lives in Rossville, Ill.
